T.U., a professional dancer and KOC, shared: “After two years and seven filler injections, I thought I’d finally get the higher, more natural-looking nose I wanted. But in reality, fillers only slightly lift the bridge – the short, upturned tip remained unchanged. I didn’t want to keep wasting time, money, and enduring pain for maintenance injections, so I decided to stop and start researching surgical rhinoplasty instead.”
Around the same time, her best friend P.T. confided that she wanted to correct her nose after two previous failed surgeries. At their scheduled appointment, both friends first underwent 3D CT scanning before meeting their doctors. “After the scan, I met Dr. Hoang Nhung for consultation. Based on the results, she found filler spreading on both sides of my nose, a deviated septum to the left, and very thin skin along the bridge. I asked a lot of questions, and she explained everything clearly and kindly. In the end, she recommended Structural Rhinoplasty using ear cartilage to lift the bridge and lengthen the tip, combined with a Megaderm layer to prevent skin thinning.” – T.U.
As for P.T., Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam (Specialist Level I) shared: “Her nasal column was deviated to the right, making the bridge appear tilted from the front. The CT scan also showed a significantly curved septum toward the left, which affected both breathing and aesthetics. We planned to correct the septum and perform a Structural Rhinoplasty using ear cartilage combined with a Surgiform implant for the bridge.”
