Since her school days, Anh Thu had to endure many hurtful remarks about her appearance. At that time, she underwent her first rhinoplasty in Can Tho using a simple artificial implant – one of the earliest techniques available. However, this method only lifted the bridge without improving the short nasal tip, leaving the result far from what she hoped for. Not long after, an accident affected her nose, forcing her to undergo a second surgery. Unfortunately, that procedure made the bridge even lower and exposed the implant. \u201cThe night before my trip to Saigon, I couldn\u2019t sleep. I was anxious the entire way – terrified I\u2019d be rejected again. So many what-ifs ran through my mind,\u201d Anh Thu recalled.<\/p>\n
